Guinness is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide. Not to mention the sponsor of the always-fascinating Guinness Book of World Records. It is a brand that pretty much sells itself therefore all you really need to do is entertain. The vintage look made the campaign stand out. As an added bonus the color scheme tied in perfectly with the Guinness logo. Other ads in the campaign featured a little man skating on two enormous blocks of ice, a very tall man stopping to smell a very small rose and a rather large man being pampered head to toe. The goal is simple: Making people smile makes them drink more. That and beer nuts.
