A leader in many ways, B & N were the first to introduce the café into the book shopping experience as well as encouraging customers to stay in the store and read, even if you had to find room on the floor. The business model paid off as they are the largest book retailer in the United States with over 1,200 stores including the college market. This campaign used simple, instantly recognizable visuals to remind patrons of B & N’s prowess and reliability. Sometimes less is more.
